This post is related to my former post. It was about showing the trackback link for a post. I wrote when I modified the single.php nothing happened. Actually something happened I just didn’t recognize it. When you read the post from the front page index.php is used to render the post. When you open the post via some links (e.g. from the Recent Posts section) then single.php is used. I do not know whether this is a WordPress feature or just the Firebug theme does it this way. Who is Isti?
This is my nickname. My family and my friends call me Isti. My real
name is Istvan Beszteri. I'm a Doctor of Computer Science. I received my D.Sc. degree in 2006. While I'm very proud of this achievement others might think I'm an idiot spending so much time for something that is not really rewarding. Here is a good example: One of my best friends Jolly told me once when we were talking about postgraduate students: "They are all idiots. Just look at yourself!". Well, Jolly is a smart guy he is probably right :) But who cares?
