Laser Detector

I continue the planning with the laser detector. It will be a simple photo-transistor. I will use BPW40. You can find the data sheet here.

Here is the circuit:

When the laser is on, the transistor is open, and the arduino input is on the ground (logical 0). When the laser is off the transistor closes and the ardiono input is on approximately 5V (logical 1). This is also logical input, but I might connect this to some of the analog pins and use it as if it was digital. It is simply because there are too few digital pins.
